Cauzio is a platform created with and thanks to member organizations, who give to Mutualit, a social economy enterprise, the management and the development of the platform. With this model of financing, the organizations remain sovereign of their own data, they are the only beneficiaries of this data.

Organizations, associations or grouping of associations who connect with the plateform.

What are the action that these organizations can offer ?
Petitions, events, guestbooks, community financings, etc.

How can individuals act ?
By sharing and by participating in the actions posed by the organizations on cauzio.org.

Confidentiality

The action web platform cauzio.org collects various personal information such as physical addresses and emails, but not exclusively, depending on the action for which the individual can participate. Each individual is free to fill in theses action forms.

The information that is found on an idividual's action form is given to the organization or to the grouping of organizations who posed the action, specifically. The email addresses of the users can be used by the action platform cauzio.org to contact them about the platform, their user account, and the actions. This information is not given to other organizations or groupings of organizations.

The action platform cauzio.org can proceed with statistical analysis and can inform third parties (like participating organizations) of the results in a non-nominative, summary format.

Organizations that receive the information commit to keeping them confidential and to not share them. If the individuals have consented to being contacted about subjects other than the actions posed on cauzio.org, the organizations may use their email addresses to give them more information on their activities.

When an organization is signed up as a member of the cauzio.org platform, certain information will be required for it to be properly identified and presented on the website

User information

Participants in actions posted on cauzio.org will be required to provide personal information such as, but not limited to, a valid email address.

Content and security

Organizations and users are responsible for keeping their information and passwords confidential. Users are held responsible for any actions perpetrated through their accounts, whether these incidents take place with or without their authorization. Users must notify cauzio.org immediately if their account is being used without their authorization.

User contributions

Users are responsible for their communications and the consequences of their online publications. Users are not allowed to: post copyrighted content unless they own the rights to said content or are explicitly authorized by the owner of said content to share it; post content which infringes any copyright, trade secret, personality rights or other intellectual property rights of any other party; post any material which is obscene, offensive, vulgar, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, racist, sexist, discriminatory, embarrassing, or which could cause embarrassment, anxiety or unpleasantness for another user or another person or entity; post advertisements or promote businesses; post spam; impersonate another person; introduce viruses, Trojan horses, worms, cancel bots or other material which is malicious or harmful, or which is used to surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or information.

All links, “hidden” or deceiving keywords, or keywords irrelevant to the action they are being used for, are banned.

Cauzio.org is not responsible for the content, accuracy or reliability of any material posted by users.

Cauzio.org acts as a passive channel for distributing and publishing actions posted by users. It is not required to review postings or information and is not responsible for filtering or controlling content published by users. Should a user notifies cauzio.org of a publication violating the platform’s terms of use, cauzio.org may assess the situation and determine in good faith if the publication needs to be deleted. Cauzio.org assumes no liability for its action or inaction regarding these publications. Cauzio.org reserves the right to exclude users or restrict their access to the website if they violate its terms of use or the law. Cauzio.org also reserves the right to delete abusive or illegal publications. The website and its contents are subject to Quebec and Canadian laws.
